FCCFA in partnership with Frigid Fluid Company will present this advanced embalming seminar for students and funeral professionals. In this seminar, Matt Smith will show students and participants how to execute proper techniques facing complex embalming cases including:
- Severe trauma and reconstructive art
- Creating the “Perfect Expression”
- Addressing complications from decomposition
- Edema and its effect on arterial fluid calculations
- Tissue gas
- Donated bodies
- Airbrush cosmetics
The seminar will consist of both lecture and hands-on work with plenty of Q&A covering all of the topics and techniques shown.
The main objective seminar is to empower students and embalmers with the knowledge and expertise they need to provide the best results for the families with deceased loved ones in their communities. An additional goal of this seminar is the opportunity for a family to have an open casket ceremony for any case, regardless of difficulty.
